About the School

Creative Secondary School (CSS) is an IB World School with a rigorous standards-based curriculum for students from ages 12 to 17 years old. It offers a unique dual curriculum that combines the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) and the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary School Education (HKDSE) qualification, providing students with a comprehensive education. “Through this place we thrive, we serve and find our place in the world” is the school motto.

At CSS, students discover their passions through hands-on projects and real-world experiences resulting in well-rounded graduates with strong life skills. It has a trilingual learning environment where students have the opportunity to master Spanish, German, English, Chinese (Putonghua & Cantonese), Spanish, and German.

CSS provides exceptional care to its students with its 1:9 teacher-to-student ratio ensuring that each individual student receives special attention. Its dedicated educators are committed to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.  The school's efforts in creating a nurturing and joyful atmosphere have been acknowledged by several esteemed organizations including the UNESCO Hong Kong Association, Chief Happiness Officer Association, Happy Campus Award (Grand Award) and the Mission Achievement Award, solidifying its position as a leader in promoting well-being in its community.
