Renowned for academic innovation and fostering a supportive community, Canadian International School of Hong Kong (CDNIS) prioritizes the holistic development of students through a balanced approach of academics, athletics, arts, and extracurricular activities.
As one of Hong Kong's premier international schools, CDNIS is a not-for-profit institution that caters to nearly 1,900 students from over 40 nationalities. Since its establishment in 1991, CDNIS has leveraged its Canadian and Chinese foundations to create a distinctive learning environment, accommodating students from Early Years 1 (pre-kindergarten) to Grade 12, all on a single campus.
An IB World School, CDNIS offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma, Middle Years Programme, and Primary Years Programme, alongside the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). CDNIS is the only school outside of Canada where students can graduate with both the IBDP and OSSD. This dual-diploma approach equips CDNIS students with a well-rounded education, opening doors to prestigious universities worldwide.
Exciting plans are underway as CDNIS expands its footprint from Nam Long Shan Road to THE SOUTHSIDE in Wong Chuk Hang, augmenting its offerings with the highly sought-after half-day Early Years Programme. Starting from the academic year 2024/2025, CDNIS will provide half-day Early Years 1 classes for 3-year-olds, along with a new bilingual Nursery Programme for 2-year-olds at this second campus location.
CDNIS is proud to be accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), validating our commitment to maintaining high educational standards.
