About the School

Kingston International School (Primary section) is a small school that provides a dual language approach to learning in both English and Putonghua. We use an immersion approach for both languages for the purpose of ensuring each child is proficient in both languages. We have a high teacher-to-student ratio, which enhances our ability to differentiate and provide individual attention for our students. Kingston was the first school in Hong Kong authorised to offer the IBPYP programme and has been offering this child-centred inquiry approach for more than 20 years. Kingston graduates have automatic acceptance to our partner secondary school, International College Hong Kong (ICHK) following Year 6. Our graduates have an excellent track record of gaining acceptance to other international secondary schools in Hong Kong and abroad, and we support student applications for their preferred choices.

* Information on each school profile is compiled by Education Bureau based on voluntary contributions by the schools and their return to the annual enrolment survey conducted by Education Bureau. Any enquiries should be addressed to the schools directly.
