About the School

American School Hong Kong provides a fusion of American and international curricula that is further enhanced by a strong Chinese language syllabus. We are a through-train school, ranging from kindergarten to Grade 12. The teaching faculty are diverse and highly qualified, with most of our teachers recruited from the USA, UK, Canada, Hong Kong, and China. Our programs are holistic in nature; this includes strong academics, diverse extra-curricular activities, and wellness programs that focus on the physical, social, and emotional well-being of our students. We place significant emphasis on STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), which integrates the subject areas, and uses inquiry to solve problems in real world contexts. Our graduating students earn excellent results in the IB Diploma, then matriculate in many of the top universities around the world. Our students, parents, and faculty work collaboratively with a common goal of guiding each student to reach their full potential. ASHK is a close-knit community of well-rounded learners who develop into responsible global citizens and leaders.
